Blunham Quiz

This runs until 10th April. Quiz sheets available from Sue Dodson, Shelagh Ashley, Liz Schwar and Jane Marner. Cost is £3, £1 of which goes towards the prize fund. If you are unable to collect a sheet, please let Shelagh Ashley know and she will deliver on to you. Shelaghashley@btinternet.com

Please return completed quiz sheets to the red safe at the back of the church.


Bible Study and Fellowship Group CANCELLED

The meetings start at 7.45pm on Tuesday evenings during school term time, with an intention to be finished by 9pm. They are aimed at those who wish to explore the books of the Bible together in an informal environment, to increase their understanding of scripture and to spend time in fellowship with like-minded Christians.  No prior experience of Bible study is necessary and you don’t have to commit to coming regularly - All are very welcome.

 Blunham Community Fairtrade Café  CANCELLED

 Is open in St. Edmund or St. James parish church between 10.30am and 12  noon on the second Saturday of each month. The café aims to offer a place to meet and mingle, and serves hot drinks and fruit squash accompanied by biscuits (and occasionally cake!).  The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are all ‘Fairtrade’ produce where possible. The monthly 150 Club draw takes place at about 11 am.

Please make a note in your diary of the dates of opening over the next few months and drop in:   March 14th and April 11th


Blunham Knit and Natter CANCELLED

We meet every month, usually on a day in the third week of the month.

The next meeting is on Thursday 19th March at Stationmaster's Cottage CANCELLED


Great Barford Church Market and Coffee Morning CANCELLED

This takes place on the first Saturday of the month in the church from 10 am to noon. There is a variety of stalls.


Roxton Breakfast Club CANCELLED

This meets in the church each Wednesday in term time from 8.45 to 10.15 am. All are welcome.


Lent Courses CANCELLED

These are being held on Wednesday afternoons in the Rectory at 2.30 pm on March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st; and on Friday evenings in Roxton church at 7.30 pm on March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and April 3rd.

The courses are the same, so it is possible to swap between venues if necessary.


Roxton Lent Lunches CANCELLED

Do please come and join us for Lent lunches every Tuesday during Lent beginning 3rd March at 12.30 pm.

There will be homemade soup, bread and cheese on offer for £4.

All proceeds to St John's Hospice, Moggerhanger.


Roxton Auction of Promises

Roxton Village Hall, 14th March 6.30 pm for 7 pm start.

£5 per adult (children free) to include ploughman's supper; bring your own drink.
