Bible Study and Fellowship Group

The meetings start at 7.45pm on Tuesday evenings during school term time, with an intention to be finished by 9pm. They are aimed at those who wish to explore the books of the Bible together in an informal environment, to increase their understanding of scripture and to spend time in fellowship with like-minded Christians.  No prior experience of Bible study is necessary and you don’t have to commit to coming regularly - All are very welcome.

 Blunham Community Fairtrade Café 

 Is open in St. Edmund or St. James parish church between 10.30am and 12  noon on the second Saturday of each month. The café aims to offer a place to meet and mingle, and serves hot drinks and fruit squash accompanied by biscuits (and occasionally cake!).  The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are all ‘Fairtrade’ produce where possible. The monthly 150 Club draw takes place at about 11 am.

Please make a note in your diary of the dates of opening over the next few months and drop in:  November 9th and December 7th - please note change  of date

Blunham Knit and Natter

We will meet every Tuesday  in the church 2 - 4 pm from 29th October to 26th November in preparation for the Christmas Tree Festival on 30th November.

No meeting on Tuesday 19th, but meet on Monday 18th at Gordon House. 

Great Barford Church Market and Coffee Morning

This takes place on the first Saturday of the month in the church from 10 am to noon. There is a variety of stalls.

Roxton Breakfast Club

This meets in the church each Wednesday in term time from 8.45 to 10.15 am. All are welcome.

We meet again on Wednesday, 11th September with first bap and drink free.

Blunham Christmas Tree Festival and Fayre

Saturday, 30th November 11.30 - 2.30

Admire 13 Christmas trees decorated by village organisations - some trees will remain on display in the church through Advent

Listen to the superb singing of the children form John Donne Primary School at noon

Play games and win prizes - find the letters on the Christmas trees and win an Advent calendar

Visit Father Christmas in his grotto

Festive refreshments, including mulled wine

Mystery parcels, raffle, guess the birthday of the Snowman, cakes, snowmouse stall, pyrography, memory tree
