Blunham - Auction of Promises, Saturday 12th October. 

We will be holding an Auction of Promises in the Village Hall to raise money towards installing new kitchen and toilet facilities in the church. Promises on offer include a bespoke watercolour painting, driving lesson, gourmet meal and cakes, among many other things.

If you are able to donate a ‘promise’ to be auctioned on the evening please contact Shelagh Ashley on 01767 640742 or email: shelaghashley@btinternet.com and come along on the evening to join in the fun. There will be a licensed bar, fish and chip supper (optional) and a raffle. Tickets are £2.50 or £8.50 with supper. Please contact Shelagh to reserve tickets.


Gt Barford - Autumn Craft and Gift Fayre  (All Saints Church & Women’s Institute)

 Saturday 12th October,  Village Hall, Fishers Close, Great Barford.

 There will be a wide variety of crafts and gifts, tombola, home-made cakes, and large raffle.

 Entrance: £1.00 (accompanied children under 10yrs—free)


Blunham - Knit and Natter, 18th October, 2 - 4 pm

Bible Study and Fellowship Group

The meetings start at 7.45pm on Tuesday evenings during school term time, with an intention to be finished by 9pm. They are aimed at those who wish to explore the books of the Bible together in an informal environment, to increase their understanding of scripture and to spend time in fellowship with like-minded Christians.  No prior experience of Bible study is necessary and you don’t have to commit to coming regularly - All are very welcome.

17th September until half term at 39, School Lane


 Blunham Community Fairtrade Café 

 Is open in St. Edmund or St. James parish church between 10.30am and 12  noon on the second Saturday of each month. The café aims to offer a place to meet and mingle, and serves hot drinks and fruit squash accompanied by biscuits (and occasionally cake!).  The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are all ‘Fairtrade’ produce where possible. The monthly 150 Club draw takes place at about 11 am.

Please make a note in your diary of the dates of opening over the next few months and drop in:  October 12th and November 9th


Great Barford Church Market and Coffee Morning

This takes place on the first Saturday of the month in the church from 10 am to noon. There is a variety of stalls.


Roxton Breakfast Club

This meets in the church each Wednesday in term time from 8.45 to 10.15 am. All are welcome.

We meet again on Wednesday, 11th September with first bap and drink free.
